Why It Matters
First hotel in Mayrhofen to receive a Michelin Key. The dual-level Sky Pool is a genuine showstopper — you're literally floating above the valley with mountain peaks reflected in the water. Runs almost entirely on its own hydroelectric power and sources spring water from its own Ahornach spring. Five generations of the Pfister family still run the place, and it shows.

Weekly guided hikes to the most beautiful spots in the Zillertal Alps. Nearly 1,000km of marked hiking trails, paths and routes accessible from the hotel. Hiking pole and backpack rental on-site, drying room available.
