Why It Matters
Zoku invented a new hotel category: the home-office hybrid aparthotel. The Lofts center on a large kitchen table rather than a bed, which sounds like a small detail but completely changes how the space feels. The brand was one of the first hotels in the world to earn B Corp certification (2018) and Forbes voted it one of the 25 coolest hotels in the world.
Zoku Paris is an aparthotel in the 17th arrondissement that blurs the line between serviced apartment and hotel. Think 109 private Lofts with full kitchens, lofted beds, and 4-person work tables — topped by an entire rooftop floor of social spaces, a restaurant, a bar, coworking desks, and a gym. The concept, born in Amsterdam in 2016, arrived in Paris in 2023 and sits inside the glass Stream Building directly across from the Tribunal de Paris.

The flagship room and the whole reason Zoku exists. A cleverly designed micro-apartment with a lofted king-size bed accessed by retractable stairs, a full kitchen, a 4-person dining/work table as the room's centerpiece, and a lounge area with sofa. Everything folds, hides, and adapts. You can hold a work call in the morning and host dinner in the evening from the same 26m2.

Same layout as the Loft but with meaningfully more floor space — perfect if you're staying for a few weeks and need room to spread out. Comes with a 2-person sofa (upgrade from the standard Loft) and the same full kitchen and 4-person table setup.

The wild card. A queen-size Murphy bed faces an enormous projector screen, so you can watch films in bed like a proper home cinema. Also functions as the property's wheelchair-accessible room. Full kitchen and 6-person table still included, so it's practical as well as cinematic.

Regular Thursday evening live music events on the rooftop with musicians and DJ sets. Open to guests and locals. Free for guests; ticketed events receive 15% discount for long-stay guests and coworking members.
Bicycles available to rent on-site for exploring the city.
A daily complimentary coffee, tea, or sweet treat at 15:30 for guests, coworking members, and monthly residents. Borrowed from Scandinavian coworking culture — the idea being that everyone stops and connects briefly each afternoon.
