Where to Stay

Park MGM Las Vegas

$150-250/nightGood to Know
Smart Transport Around the Strip
Use the Deuce or SDX buses for north–south Strip and downtown trips, and the Monorail if you’re hopping between east-side resorts; buy a 24-hour or 3-day bus pass instead of paying ride-by-ride. For anything more than 2–3 blocks off the Strip at night, choose rideshare over walking, as side streets can change in feel very quickly.
Heat, Hydration, and Scheduling
Plan outdoor activities like Red Rock Canyon early in the day, bring more water than you think you need, and wear a hat and sunscreen—desert sun plus alcohol is a fast track to exhaustion. Build in midday indoor breaks in casinos or cafes so you arrive at your evening plans with energy.
Casino & Tipping Etiquette
At table games, avoid using your phone, don’t touch face-up cards, and tip dealers periodically when you’re playing (or on a nice win). Tip $1–2 per free drink on the casino floor, 15–20% at restaurants, and a few dollars per day for housekeeping left daily because staff rotate.
