Why It Matters
Every suite has its own private heated outdoor pool running year-round — not a shared plunge pool, an actual personal swimming pool in a screened garden. Three suites also have private saunas. The architecture won a national hospitality design award in 2022. The sister restaurant L'A Cheda holds a Michelin Guide listing and the Maître Restaurateur label, with produce from an on-site permaculture garden. EU Ecolabel certified.
A Speranza is the sister property and architectural extension of boutique hotel A Cheda, designed by young Corsican firm ORMA under architect Jean-Matthieu de Lipowsky. Seven (or ten, per Tablet Hotels) intimate suites are arranged around a courtyard planted with native species, each enclosed in its own private walled garden with a year-round heated pool. The curved lime-plaster walls, chestnut-wood terraces, and furniture by designer Laure Amoros make this feel less like a hotel and more like a very private compound. It won the Hotel & Lodge Awards 2022 in the Architects category.

Reception can arrange and book boat tours to explore the Lavezzi Islands, limestone cliffs, and translucent coastal waters. Multiple operators available.
Go behind the scenes with chef Lionel: pick herbs, flowers, and ingredients from the permaculture garden, then learn to prepare signature dishes before sitting down to a Nustrale surprise dinner of 5 courses and 8 servings. Available as a gift voucher. Not available in July and August.
An 'escapade basket' prepared by chef Lionel: cold box with cold drinks, fresh salads, snacks with Corsican tomme cheese, cold meats, and fresh fruit. Order by 6pm the day before. Price on request.
Free daily shuttle to Bonifacio port or citadel, running 10am–6pm. On reservation.
9-hole course set in wooded valleys with views over the bay of Santa Giulia, 20 minutes from Bonifacio. Book through reception for a complimentary course map, bottle of water, and trolley.
18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. overlooking the cliffs of Bonifacio, facing the Lavezzi islands. Famous 16th hole drive across open sea. Hotel guests can book through reception for a preferential rate (excluding high season).

The hotel's kitchen garden, managed pesticide-free for many years by gardener Nathalie (flowers and aromatics) and head gardener Bruno, is part of the property's public spaces and can be explored by guests.
