Agroturismo Llucasaldent Gran
Rustic-chic agrotourism. Exposed stone, painted beams, raw wood, neutral and natural color palettes that vary room to room. Feels like a very elegant working farm — because it is one. The owners are hands-on and genuinely warm.
The Deluxe Suites have terraces that connect directly to the pool area — you can walk straight from your room into the water.
Why It Matters
Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels selected. One of the very few true working agrotourisms on Menorca, producing its own wine and olive oil. Only 12 rooms and one standalone farmhouse — never crowded. Adults-only policy. Located within the Menorca UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, which also holds Starlight Reserve status for exceptional stargazing.
A working farm turned intimate adults-only retreat, owned and personally run by Cristina and Germán. The estate covers 100 hectares with 7,000 grapevines, 800 olive trees, vegetable and fruit gardens, and free-range chickens — and it actually uses all of it. The wine and olive oil come from the farm itself. Twelve rooms sit in the main finca building; a separate four-bedroom whitewashed farmhouse is available for more independence. The infinity pool is built into restored traditional drinking troughs, trickling water from one stone basin to the next before falling over the edge. Son Bou, Menorca's longest beach, is just a few kilometers away.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Rotating program of artisan workshops with local Menorcan makers — aromatherapy, ceramics, jewelry, painting, photography, weaving, makeup, and cooking are all on the menu. Specific topics can also be requested (geology, prehistory, ornithology, gastronomy). Many are organized around seasonal availability.
On request and at extra cost, guests can order a barbecue pack to cook in the designated barbecue area on the terrace, or a fully packed picnic in an isothermal backpack to take to the beach or out into the countryside.
Four bicycles available to guests at no charge for use on the estate. Electric bike rentals can be arranged. The property can also help organize a full cycling circuit of Minorca.
A guided 'forest bath' session with Isabel Martín — a Japanese-origin mindfulness practice of moving through the forest with all five senses engaged. The session ends with a warm pine-leaf infusion. Research-backed stress reduction and immune system benefits. A very Menorcan spin on what's become a global wellness trend.
Personalized or pre-designed guided tours of Minorca with a licensed local guide. Half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) options. Guests share their interests and the property tailors the route accordingly.
Walk the network of private paths through vineyards, olive groves, and pine forests on the 100-hectare estate. Short or long routes available. Staff can show you viewpoints, including one hidden in the forest overlooking the Barranc ravine. Reception can also help plan stages of the famous Camí de Cavalls — the ancient coastal path that circles the whole island — self-guided or with specialist guides (ornithology, geology, biology available).
In collaboration with @menorcahorseback, the property offers an exclusive private 1 to 1.5-hour horse ride through the estate's trails — through olive groves, pine forests, and viewpoints with sweeping views of the island's interior gorges. Weekends only. Includes a small aperitif. Other Menorca riding routes can also be arranged on request.
Menorca holds both Starlight Reserve and Starlight Destination status, and the estate's remote location means real darkness. Two formats: (1) A private session with certified Starlight monitor Isabel Martín at the 'Antigua Era' (the highest point of the farm) — includes cava at sunset, a Menorcan cheese and charcuterie tasting with local wine, then a 1-hour naked-eye star session. (2) A telescope-guided walk with guide Javier Ares — you can observe Saturn's rings or lunar craters depending on the season.
The 100-hectare estate can be explored by electric vehicle (the property has a 100% electric buggy). See the 7,000 grapevines, 800 olive trees, the threshing floors (ancient eras), vegetable gardens, and meet the free-range chickens. Wine and olive oil produced on the farm.
