Davos Swiss Mountain Resort
Modern Alpine — clean-lined Swiss design with warm rustic accents. Business-capable without feeling corporate. More spa-and-slopes leisure hotel than luxury retreat.
Buy your ski passes at reception — skips the lift queue entirely
Why It Matters
Michelin Key recipient (2025) sitting opposite the Davos Congress Centre. Combines serious ski-resort convenience — free shuttle, on-site ski cellar, pass sales at reception — with an 850m² spa and three distinct dining concepts under one roof. Part of the Althoff/AMERON group known for design-forward boutique properties across Germany and Switzerland.
This is a 4-star superior mountain resort from Cologne-based AMERON Collection, sitting directly across the street from the Davos Congress Centre at 1,560 metres — Europe's highest city. Most guests come for the mountains, not the WEF. The 148 rooms mix modern Swiss design with Alpine touches: pine paneling, faux fur throws, red upholstery. The 850m² spa is genuinely oversized for the price tier, and the in-house Italian restaurant BACiO della Mamma has its own brand identity and devoted following.
