A 1736 private mansion turned 5-star boutique hotel smack in the middle of Vieux Lille. The bones are pure 18th-century French classicism — period woodwork, tall windows, a secret walled garden — but the interiors push hard in the opposite direction. Contemporary art hangs everywhere, the furniture is sleek and designer-forward, and each of the 27 rooms has its own name and personality. Add a Michelin-starred restaurant helmed by a local chef obsessed with northern French terroir, and you have something that most historic city hotels can't pull off: genuine character on both floors.

The flagship. At 77 sqm, it takes over the entire 3rd floor and is only accessible via a private staircase — so you genuinely feel like you have the place to yourself. Loft-like in spirit, with a double bedroom, dressing room, lounge area, and a proper bathroom with balneotherapy tub and Italian shower. The views over the Vieux Lille rooftops are the best in the house.

The entry-level rooms at 24 sqm — compact but considered. Each has a double bed, a dedicated working area, flat-screen TV, minibar, coffee machine, and a private bathroom with shower. The decor mixes 18th-century architectural details with contemporary furniture. Every room has its own name (Le Jeu, Le Pavillon, etc.) so no two are quite the same.
