FRANQ occupies a neoclassical former bank building on Kipdorp, right in the old city centre of Antwerp. The lobby is the real showstopper — a regal, light-filled atrium ringed by white marble pillars, where guests now sprawl on velvet sofas rather than queue at teller windows. Rooms run from genuinely compact to spacious suites, and the on-site restaurant la volta serves refined Italian à la carte by chef Tim Meuleneire, who previously held a Michelin star here.
