Two 16th-century townhouses on a quiet side street just off the Grote Markt, Hotel Julien has been one of Antwerp's go-to boutique addresses since it opened in 2004. The interiors — designed by cult duo Peter Ivens and Bea Mombaers — run quiet and warm: salvaged wood, chalky neutrals, sculptural furnishings and curated photography from Gallery 51. It's a city hotel that genuinely doesn't feel like one.
