Why It Matters
Operating since 1868, this is one of the oldest hotels in Davos and arguably its best-located for ski access. The Turkish-led Rixos hospitality paired with Hyatt's Unbound Collection makes for an unusual, high-polish combination in the Swiss Alps. Built in 1868 and sitting directly across from Davos Dorf train station, Hotel Flüela Davos is one of the Swiss Alps' most historic properties — and one of its best-positioned for skiers. Three minutes on foot to the Parsenn ski lift, walking distance to three other ski areas (Rinerhorn, Pischa, Jakobshorn).
