The Adelphi Hotel
Victorian grandeur meets contemporary boutique luxury. Think polished brass and crown molding alongside ultra-modern bathrooms and sleek tech. The lobby is animated and social; the rooms are quieter and genuinely lavish.
Broadway-facing rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors (Premier Broadway King, Premier Broadway Suite) offer the best views of the historic main street but may catch some street noise on summer nights.
Why It Matters
The only remaining Victorian-era hotel in the Saratoga Springs region, now holding a 2025 Michelin Key and membership in Preferred Hotels L.V.X. Collection. Every guest room includes a piece of original 1877 antique decor alongside one of the best hotel bathrooms in upstate New York. Salt & Char steakhouse — attached to the hotel — has a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and celebrity chef endorsements.
The last surviving Victorian-era hotel in Saratoga Springs, the Adelphi opened in 1877 and reopened in 2017 following a $28 million gut renovation. It sits right on Broadway — the downtown main drag — with 65 oversized rooms and suites that pair period antiques salvaged from the original building with serious modern hardware: radiant-heated marble floors, Toto Washlet toilets, glass-enclosed rainfall showers, and motorized blackout shades. Two restaurants (one a legit steakhouse), a med spa, a game room, and an infrared sauna mean you rarely need to leave.
