The Langham Hong Kong
Grand British-heritage luxury with Art Deco interiors. Lavish marble lobbies, handcrafted silk furniture, crystal chandeliers — it feels like a European hotel that somehow landed in one of Asia's most frenetic shopping districts. Service is warm and personal without being stiff.

Why It Matters
T'ang Court has held three Michelin stars every year since 2009 — 11 consecutive years as of 2026. That alone sets this hotel apart from nearly every other property in Kowloon. Palm Court also upholds the Langham brand's 160-year Afternoon Tea tradition, and the hotel's curated Chinese art collection is genuinely impressive throughout the public areas.
The Langham Hong Kong opened in 1989 and was thoroughly renovated in 2014. Step inside and its public spaces feel straight out of Art Deco London — marble columns, crystal chandeliers, the works. But walk outside onto Peking Road and you're squarely back in the electric chaos of Tsim Sha Tsui. That contrast is the whole point. The hotel houses 498 rooms and suites, a three-Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant in T'ang Court, the legendary Langham Afternoon Tea at Palm Court, and a serious spa on the 15th floor. Rooms are comfortable and well-maintained rather than jaw-dropping, but the dining and location alone make a strong argument.
