U Capu Biancu
Rustic-chic Mediterranean with an eccentric, artistic edge. Think natural materials — stone, wood, brass — alongside bold color and globally sourced objects. Feels like a private estate where you just happen to be a guest.
Book the panoramic restaurant in advance — it fills up, especially in July and August
Why It Matters
Decades of family ownership in a genuinely remote coastal setting with three private beaches, deeply Corsican food sourcing, and a strong sustainability program including European Ecolabel certification and its own 6,800-vine biodynamic vineyard planted in 2022.
U Capu Biancu is a four-star, family-run hotel on the Gulf of Sant'Amanza in southern Corsica, about 12km from Bonifacio town. Sylvie and Jean-Louis Limongi have poured 34+ years into it, and their three adult children are now taking over — which shows in how the place feels: personal, particular, and genuinely cared for. Rooms are all individually styled (some boldly, some quirkily) using Bonifacio stone, natural wood, and collected objects, and every one has a private terrace or balcony. There are three private beaches at the base of the property, a heated infinity pool, a small spa, and a restaurant run by a Senegalese-Corsican chef.
