Why It Matters
One of very few hotels in southern Corsica that genuinely feels part of the maquis rather than just near it. Guests have cross-access to the Version Maquis Citadelle 5* (6km away) for its 600m² Biologique Recherche spa, restaurant La Vista, and additional pool — effectively giving a 4-star price with partial 5-star access.

An upgrade on the Superior with a separate entrance offering more privacy. Set away from the pool and busier common areas. Guests consistently flag this as the better choice for a quieter stay. Same contemporary natural palette — wood, stone, muted greens and browns — with a generously sized terrace looking out over the maquis.
La Bergerie
A standalone shepherd's cottage — the most private and premium option at Santa Manza. At 40m², it functions like a mini-villa with its own private terrace and jacuzzi. Independently described as giving a 'luxury villa' feel within the hotel property. Ideal for couples wanting total seclusion.

Air-conditioned rooms with contemporary decor, private terrace, and views over the Corsican maquis with glimpses of the sea beyond. Santa Manza guests can use the full 600m² Spa Biologique Recherche at the Version Maquis Citadelle 5* — including indoor pool, sauna, hammam, banya, ice fountain, and Technogym fitness suite. Book treatments in advance in summer.
Version Maquis operates a premium boat rental fleet from Bonifacio port: the Itama 45S (2022), Capelli Tempest 1000 (2023), and Targa 32. Excursions to the Lavezzi Islands and Costa Smeralda available. Rates published in PDF on the official site.
Electric bikes available for guests to explore the surrounding area and reach the beach independently. A useful option given the hilly terrain of the Corsican maquis.
The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle in a 4x4 buggy to Plage de Canetto (2.9km). Guests can request a pickup from the beach too. Popular with reviewers — definitely worth booking at check-in.
Group yoga sessions led by instructor Ingrid, held twice a week at Santa Manza (8h–9h). Three additional sessions available at the Citadelle 5*. Private sessions also bookable on request.
