September can be gorgeous with crisp air and changing light, plus restaurant reservations become easier to snag. Winter here feels different – the restaurants stay cozy inside, but you lose that essential waterfront experience. The Christmas market in December has its charm, but let's be honest, you come to Aker Brygge for those summer evenings when the sun sets behind the fjord at 10 PM and everyone lingers over wine on the terraces.
