Angel Falls in June

Great time to visit

June is one of the best months to visit Angel Falls.

All Months

June through November offers the most spectacular waterfall views when seasonal rains swell the Churún River. The falls run at full power, creating that iconic misty plume visible from kilometers away. But here's the trade-off: afternoon thunderstorms are common, and river levels can change rapidly. December through May is dry season - easier river navigation and clearer skies, but Angel Falls often reduces to a thin trickle. Some years it nearly disappears entirely by March. For photography, September and October hit the sweet spot with strong water flow and relatively stable weather. Avoid December through February unless you're okay with potentially seeing just a damp rock face instead of the world's highest waterfall. Temperature stays consistent year-round - expect 80°F (27°C) during the day and 70°F (21°C) at night. Humidity hovers around 80% regardless of season.
