March through May brings perfect weather – warm days, cool nights, and clear skies that make the Andes pop. September through November works just as well, with spring energy and fewer crowds than summer. Summer (December-February) gets hot and packed with tourists, but the rooftop bars make more sense when it's 85 degrees out. Winter (June-August) brings rain and smog that can obscure those famous mountain views for days. But hotel prices drop by 40%, and you'll have the galleries mostly to yourself. The neighborhood really comes alive after 8pm, so plan your visit accordingly. Street art tours run year-round, but the best light for photos happens in late afternoon around 5-6pm.
