October through December offers perfect weather — sunny days around 22°C and cool evenings for outdoor dining. March through May works too, though expect occasional spring showers. Summer means sweltering heat and humidity that makes walking uncomfortable. January and February bring gray skies and temperatures around 15°C. Not terrible, but you'll miss the outdoor cafe culture that makes Daan special. Book accommodations early during Chinese New Year when family visitors flood the city.
