Dilijan in June
Great time to visit
June is one of the best months to visit Dilijan.
All Months
May through October gives you the best weather, but each season has its perks. Late spring (May-June) brings wildflowers and comfortable hiking temperatures around 20°C (68°F). The forests are lush, and you'll have trails mostly to yourself.
Summer (July-August) is peak season for a reason. Days hit 25°C (77°F) — perfect for lake swimming and long hikes. But expect crowds at Parz Lake and higher accommodation prices. Book ahead if you're coming in July.
Early autumn (September-October) might be the sweet spot. The weather stays pleasant, but tourist numbers drop. Plus, you'll catch the forest changing colors — those Instagram shots practically take themselves.
Winter brings snow and freezing temperatures, but also a different kind of beauty. Some guesthouses close, and hiking becomes challenging. But if you're into cross-country skiing or just want to see Dilijan without any crowds, January and February deliver.
