April through June gives you the best of Dorsoduro without the summer sweat. The light becomes more dramatic — perfect for those golden hour shots along the Zattere. Plus, locals return from August holidays, so neighborhood bars and restaurants hit their stride again. Summer means crowds and heat, but also extended gallery hours and outdoor dining along the canals. Just book accommodations early — Venice fills up fast between June and August.
