Eastern Missouri in November
Good time to visit
November is a reasonable time to visit Eastern Missouri.
All Months
April through May and September through October offer the sweet spot of comfortable temperatures and lower humidity. Spring brings dogwood blooms to the Ozark foothills, while fall colors peak in mid-October along the river bluffs. Summer gets sticky - July temperatures hit the 90s with humidity that makes exploring outdoor sites uncomfortable by midday. Winter can be gray and cold, but indoor attractions like the City Museum and Missouri History Museum stay busy. Tom Sawyer Days in Hannibal happens the first week of July despite the heat. The Missouri Botanical Garden's orchid show runs February through March when you need something beautiful during the dreariest months.
