The landscape turns greener and waterfalls run stronger. Fewer tourists mean better deals on rooms and restaurants. Just pack a rain jacket and plan outdoor activities for the first half of the day. September through November marks the heaviest rain season. Trails become muddy and dangerous, and mist often blocks the famous views from Little Adam's Peak.
