Georgian Quarter in November
Good time to visit
November is a reasonable time to visit Georgian Quarter.
All Months
May through September gives you the best weather and longest days. Liverpool's latitude means summer daylight lasts until nearly 10 PM, perfect for evening walks between the cathedrals. But the cultural calendar matters more than weather here. The Liverpool International Music Festival in August brings outdoor concerts to various quarter venues. September sees the Heritage Open Days when normally closed Georgian houses open their doors free. Winter has its charms - the Philharmonic Hall's concert season runs October through April, and Christmas markets set up around the cathedrals in December. Just pack waterproof gear. Liverpool gets about 32 inches of rain annually, and it can pour any month. The Walker Art Gallery and World Museum provide perfect rainy day refuges.
