April through June gives you perfect weather without the summer crowds. Temperatures hover around 75°F and the Mediterranean stays warm enough for swimming. This is peak season for hiking in the Qadisha Valley and exploring mountain villages. September through November offers the same pleasant temperatures with fewer tourists. October is particularly beautiful when the mountains turn golden. Summer (July-August) brings intense heat and humidity to the coast, plus higher hotel prices. But the mountain resorts like Faraya provide cool escapes, and the nightlife scene reaches peak intensity. Winter skiing in the Lebanese mountains runs December through March, with decent snow at resorts like Mzaar Kfardebian. Avoid visiting during major political events or regional tensions – check current conditions before booking.
