October through April gives you the sweet spot – Marrakech stays pleasant around 25°C while the coast gets those perfect Atlantic breezes. December and January nights can drop to 5°C in the mountains, so pack layers. The summer months turn Marrakech into an oven, hitting 45°C regularly, though the coast stays bearable thanks to ocean winds. Ramadan shifts the whole rhythm – restaurants close during daylight hours, but the evening iftar celebrations in the medina create an incredible atmosphere. The almond blossoms in the Atlas foothills peak in February, turning the drive to Ourika Valley spectacular. Avoid July and August unless you're only hitting the coastal towns.
