May through September offers the best weather, but July and August bring cruise ship crowds that can overwhelm the small boats. Early June hits the sweet spot — warm enough for swimming (22°C water temperature) but before peak tourist season. September extends the season with fewer people and still-warm seas. Avoid winter entirely — rough seas cancel boat tours, and you'll be stuck admiring the beach from the clifftop viewpoint only. Morning visits (9am-11am) offer the best light for photos and smaller crowds before the tour groups arrive from Corfu.
