NEOM Region in February
Great time to visit
February is one of the best months to visit NEOM Region.
All Months
NEOM's desert location means winter months offer the most comfortable outdoor conditions. November through March sees daytime temperatures around 25°C and cool evenings perfect for rooftop dining. This is peak season, so expect higher hotel rates and advance booking requirements.
December and January are ideal for exploring Trojena's mountain activities. The artificial snow operates year-round, but natural snowfall occasionally dusts the peaks during these months. The contrast between skiing in the morning and beach activities in the afternoon—possible with NEOM's efficient transport system—defines the region's appeal.
Spring (March-April) brings wildflowers to the desert and excellent diving conditions in the Red Sea. Water temperatures reach 24°C, perfect for snorkeling around the coral reefs. But this is also when sandstorms are most likely, occasionally disrupting outdoor activities.
Summer temperatures regularly exceed 40°C, making outdoor exploration challenging. However, The Line's climate-controlled environment means indoor activities continue normally. Hotel rates drop significantly, and you'll have attractions largely to yourself. The Red Sea stays warm enough for swimming, though you'll want to limit beach time to early morning or evening.
Avoid visiting during Ramadan unless you're comfortable with limited daytime dining options. While NEOM's international zone status means some restaurants stay open, the atmosphere is notably quieter during the holy month.
