Winter has its own charm — Christmas markets set up on Kongens Nytorv, and the colored buildings look magical dusted with snow. But many canal-side restaurants close their outdoor sections, and daylight disappears by 4 PM. If you come in winter, book a hotel room with canal views since you'll spend less time outside.
