Pakistan in November

Great time to visit

November is one of the best months to visit Pakistan.

All Months

Pakistan's weather operates on multiple time zones depending on elevation. The sweet spot runs from April through June and September through November - but even then, you're making compromises. Spring (April-May) brings perfect weather to most of the country. Lahore sits comfortably in the 70s, mountain passes start opening, and you can actually walk around Karachi without melting. This is peak season for northern areas, so book accommodations early. Summer gets complicated. June through August means furnace-level heat in Punjab and Sindh - Lahore regularly hits 110°F. But summer is the only time many high-altitude areas become accessible. Fairy Meadows, K2 base camp, and remote valleys in Gilgit-Baltistan open up when lower elevations become unbearable. Fall (September-November) offers the most reliable weather across regions. Temperatures drop to comfortable levels in cities while mountain areas stay accessible before winter snows. October specifically gives you clear skies for those Himalayan views. Winter works for southern cities but shuts down mountain tourism completely. Karachi becomes pleasant, Lahore gets chilly but manageable. But northern areas essentially close from December through March.
