Pelion Peninsula in June
Great time to visit
June is one of the best months to visit Pelion Peninsula.
All Months
May through October gives you the full Pelion experience, but each season has its personality. May and June offer perfect hiking weather with wildflowers covering the mountainsides, plus you'll have the beaches mostly to yourself. July and August bring the heat and crowds — expect packed tavernas and €120 per night for decent accommodation. But the sea's warmest then, perfect for those long beach days. September might be the sweet spot — still warm enough for swimming, fewer tourists, and the beginning of harvest season when local markets overflow with apples and chestnuts. October brings autumn colors that rival New England, though some coastal tavernas start closing. Skip November through April unless you're here for the skiing at the small resort near Hania.
