Qatar in July

Not the best time

July isn't ideal for Qatar. Consider a different month.

All Months

November through April is the only time that makes sense unless you enjoy feeling like you're inside a hair dryer. December and January offer perfect weather - sunny days around 25°C and cool evenings perfect for desert camping. February brings the Doha Marathon and outdoor festivals. March can be ideal, but sandstorms sometimes blow in from the Empty Quarter. April starts getting warm, but it's still manageable. By May, you're looking at 35°C and climbing. Summer here isn't just hot, it's aggressively hostile. July and August see temperatures over 45°C with humidity that makes breathing feel like work. The only upside? Hotel rates drop by 60% and you'll have attractions to yourself. But seriously, unless you plan to spend your entire trip in air-conditioned malls, stick to the cooler months. Ramadan timing varies, but expect different restaurant hours and a more subdued nightlife scene.
