Quebec in March
Not the best time
March isn't ideal for Quebec. Consider a different month.
All Months
Summer brings festival season - Montreal's Just for Laughs and Jazz Festival pack the streets in July. Quebec City's Summer Festival turns the Plains of Abraham into a massive outdoor concert venue. But winter transforms the province into something magical. Quebec City's Winter Carnival runs in February with ice sculptures and Bonhomme, the creepy-cute snowman mascot. Hotel prices drop 40% in winter, and you'll have major attractions mostly to yourself. Spring means maple syrup season and the end of snow tire requirements. Fall colors peak in late September through early October, especially in the Laurentians. Just know that black fly season in May can make outdoor activities miserable.
