November through April gives you the best weather window. Temperatures hover in the comfortable 20-30°C range, and you can actually enjoy walking around the Cultural District without melting. December and January are peak season for good reason — perfect beach weather and all the cultural events are in full swing. The Louvre often schedules special exhibitions during these months. But expect higher hotel rates and more crowds. March and April offer a sweet spot. Weather's still great, prices drop slightly from peak season, and the beaches aren't packed with families on school holidays. Avoid May through October unless you have a specific reason to be here. Summer temperatures regularly hit 45°C, and even the short walk from your air-conditioned car to a museum entrance becomes uncomfortable. The beaches lose their appeal when the sand is too hot to walk on barefoot.
