Plus, the city goes all-out for Halloween — and in a place this haunted, October feels especially atmospheric. Summer brings two problems: heat and crowds. July temperatures regularly hit 90°F with humidity that makes it feel like 100°F. And good luck finding a restaurant table on St. George Street without a wait. But if summer is your only option, plan indoor activities during the hottest part of the day. Winter surprises people. Temperatures rarely drop below 40°F, so you can still walk around comfortably. Just pack layers because mornings can be chilly while afternoons warm up nicely.
