March through May offers perfect weather - 70s during the day, cool at night. Pool parties haven't started yet so hotel rates stay reasonable. October and November bring the same sweet spot without summer's brutal heat. Avoid July and August unless you enjoy 110-degree sidewalks that melt shoe soles. December and January can hit 40 degrees at night, which feels arctic when you're dressed for indoor casinos. Convention season (January, March, September) drives up hotel prices and crowds. CES in January packs the town with tech bros. New Year's Eve costs triple but the Strip shuts down to cars for a massive street party.
