April through June gives you perfect weather without the crowds. Temperatures sit around 22-26°C and restaurant terraces actually have free tables. September through November works too - the sea stays warm for swimming but tourist numbers drop. July and August mean 30°C+ heat and packed attractions, though evening strolls along the bastions stay magical. Winter brings occasional rain but mild 15-18°C days perfect for exploring without sweating. Easter week sees processions through the streets but also higher prices and full hotels. Christmas brings local charm but some restaurants close.
