Tsingy in February

Not the best time

February isn't ideal for Tsingy. Consider a different month.

All Months

April through October offers the sweet spot for Tsingy exploration. The dry season means stable weather, manageable temperatures, and all trails open. May and June are particularly good — post-rainy season means the landscape is still green, but the trails are dry and safe. July and August bring cooler temperatures (around 25°C/77°F during the day), making the physical demands more bearable. But this is also peak tourist season, so expect crowds on the popular Mandresy Circuit. September and October heat up again, but you'll have more space to yourself. Avoid November through March entirely. The rainy season turns the limestone into a slip-and-slide death trap. Many circuits close, and even the open trails become genuinely dangerous. Plus, the heat and humidity make the physical challenges nearly unbearable. The park doesn't refund permits for weather closures, so timing matters.
