Uzbekistan in February
Not the best time
February isn't ideal for Uzbekistan. Consider a different month.
All Months
April through May brings wildflowers and temperatures that won't melt your camera. September through November offers perfect weather for exploring — warm days, cool nights, and clear skies that make those turquoise domes pop in photos. Summer hits 45°C (113°F) and turns sightseeing into survival training. Winter drops to freezing with occasional snow that transforms Silk Road cities into fairy tales, but many guesthouses close and heating remains optional. Ramadan affects restaurant hours but creates beautiful evening atmospheres around breaking fast. Navruz (Persian New Year in March) brings celebrations but also crowds and higher prices. Book accommodations early during shoulder seasons — good places fill up fast.
