Valle del Cauca in December

The dry season from December through February brings perfect weather and packed clubs. January is peak salsa season — the city practically vibrates with music. June through August offers another dry window, plus the Petronio Álvarez Pacific Music Festival in August. December can get crowded and expensive, but the energy is infectious. Avoid April and October when the rains turn streets into rivers. The shoulder months of June and July give you great weather without the crowds. Remember that Cali sits at 1000 meters elevation, so it's warm year-round but never oppressive.
