Wadi Rum Desert Camp in February
Great time to visit
February is one of the best months to visit Wadi Rum Desert Camp.
All Months
October through April is prime time. Desert temperatures are actually pleasant — around 20-25°C during the day, dropping to 5-10°C at night. You'll need layers.
December and January get surprisingly cold after sunset. We're talking near-freezing temperatures, so pack a proper jacket. But the upside? Crystal-clear skies and zero humidity make for the best stargazing conditions.
March and April bring wildflowers to the desert — not many, but enough to add some color to all that red rock. This is also when you get the perfect temperature balance: warm days, cool nights.
Avoid May through September unless you enjoy feeling like you're inside an oven. Summer temperatures hit 40°C+ during the day, and even the nights don't cool down much. The few camps that stay open during summer slash their prices, but there's a reason for that.
