Bosnia and Herzegovina in November

May through October offers the best weather, but each season has its charm. Summer brings crowds to Mostar and higher prices, but the mountain hiking is perfect. September might be the sweet spot — warm days, cool nights, and the tourist buses have mostly left. Winter skiing in Jahorina and Bjelašnica costs a fraction of Alpine resorts, though facilities are basic. Spring wildflowers in the countryside are incredible, but some mountain roads stay closed until May. Avoid November — it's gray, rainy, and many rural guesthouses close.
