East Asia in November
Great time to visit
November is one of the best months to visit East Asia.
All Months
Spring (April-May) brings cherry blossoms to Japan and comfortable weather across the region. But everyone knows this. Expect crowds and premium prices during Golden Week in early May.
Fall (September-November) offers the sweet spot - comfortable temperatures, fewer typhoons, and autumn foliage in Japan and Korea. October particularly shines with clear skies and mild weather.
Summer means sweltering humidity, especially in July and August. Tokyo hits 35°C with 80% humidity. But it's also festival season - if you can handle the heat, you'll catch matsuri celebrations and fireworks.
Winter divides the region. Northern Japan gets world-class powder snow perfect for skiing. Southern China stays pleasant. Korea's winters bite hard, but you'll have palaces and temples mostly to yourself.
Monsoon season (June-July) varies by location. Southern China and Taiwan get drenched. Japan's rainy season feels more like persistent drizzle than dramatic storms.
