Sousse Governorate in November
Great time to visit
November is one of the best months to visit Sousse Governorate.
All Months
April through June gives you perfect weather without summer crowds. Temperatures hover around 25°C and the sea warms up enough for swimming. Hotel prices stay reasonable too. September through November works just as well. The water stays warm from summer heating, but the crushing heat breaks. You'll still get 8 hours of sunshine daily. July and August bring intense heat - often hitting 35°C - and European vacation crowds. Beach resorts fill up and prices double. But if you don't mind heat and crowds, the nightlife peaks during these months. Winter from December to March sees mild days around 15°C, perfect for exploring medinas and ruins without sweating. Some beach restaurants close, but cities stay lively. Rain comes in short bursts, usually clearing by afternoon. Spring brings wildflowers to the countryside and migrating birds to coastal wetlands. The Sahel region looks greenest in April after winter rains. Ramadan affects opening hours and alcohol availability, but the evening iftar atmosphere in medinas creates special energy.
